Orang Utan Coffee – a 100% Arabica, single-origin coffee is born from a mission to save the rapidly declining rainforest habitat of the Sumatran orangutan.
Tropical rainforests provide the special climate that Sumatra needs for its unique high-quality Arabica coffee to thrive. They’re also home to the critically endangered Sumatran orangutan, and only 6,000 of the native primates remain in the wild today.

Orang Utan Coffee needs your support. Every hour, areas of tropical rainforest the size of 88 football pitches are clear to make way for palm oil plantations and other forms of intensive agriculture. The destruction is threatening the existence of both orangutans and farmers alike. We work with coffee farming communities to protect orangutans and their rainforest. By drinking this coffee you are doing your bit.
Orangutan was the first brand in the UK to introduce traceable coffee via blockchain via the Farmer Connect platform. For every bag of blockchain enabled coffee sold, 50p goes to the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Foundation and 50p to the farmers which supply our coffee, grown in that area.
For every kilo of green bean coffee purchased, €0.50 goes to coffee farmers and a further €0.50 goes to the Sumatran Orangutan Conversation Programme. With every sip, you help save a species.
