It becomes one of only six Premier Campuses in the UK and the third UCC Coffee training suite globally to receive the accreditation, joining our Kobe and Tokyo campuses.
To be named a Premier Campus, a training space needs to provide an exceptional environment with equally incredible educational materials. Everything from the quality of equipment through to the level of lighting is reviewed through a thorough day-long assessment from the SCA. With over 40 individual factors assessed, it takes a lot to make the grade and be named a Premier Campus. Needless to say we ticked every box!
Gareth Davies, our head of coffee excellence, not only developed COFFEEWORKS he also worked to design the new space.
He said: “We developed this suite to provide the best possible platform for us to train customers and our own team. From the equipment on offer, to the flow and set-up, every detail has been considered to make it the perfect training environment. Our aim was to create the right environment for our needs. Achieving this and then being aligned with an industry recognised name this early in our journey is phenomenal.”
